Urban romance in green and white

I just came across these images from Bella Pictures from one of our 2013 weddings and couldn't wait to share them, especially since Kristen and Mike's two year anniversary is today! What a great beginning to a forever love story - these two met on the Amtrak en route to Milwaukee and sparks flew. They stylishly incorporated the train theme into their wedding with white and green train placecards and we carried that timeless color scheme into the bouquets and centerpiece flowers. Each of the bridesmaids selected a shade of blue, green or teal which was stunning with the crisp green and white flowers.  Holy Family provided a gorgeous, traditional atmosphere for the ceremony and the reception at Carnivale served as a hip, vibrant contrast.

Love a first look when the actual looking gets saved for the ceremony.  It honors tradition and lets the couple check in with each other before taking their vows.  Not to mention a little suspense for the bride's "wow" factor when she walks down that aisle!

Kristen's gorgeous cathedral veil cascading down the marble stairs of the altar at Holy Family which is always a stunner but especially so with potted seasonal spring flowers and plants.

Great bold color added style and looked great on each of the bridesmaids.

Seasonal white peonies echoed the details of the bride's sash and add a hint of subtle romance frangrance.

Blush and bashful meets West Loop chic

Find one incredibly stylish, intelligent and stunning woman. Add witty, awesome husband-to-be. Mix in great taste, a really cool urban venue and amazing wedding vendors. What do you get? Wow. A whole urban warehouse of wow. Art Revolution's warehouse gallery in the West Loop provided the perfect blank slate and Kenmare Catering worked their magic with the food and bevs.  It was such a pleasure working with such a great team. Draping from Precision Lighting softened the back wall for the ceremony, delicate twinkle lights in the rafters added ambiance over the dance floor and Chris Vittorio with Spin Production added the music and wall lighting which made the setting complete.

Kris Kasperek Photography captured all of it - the love, the laughter, the dancing and (omg!) the details and I could not be more thrilled to share a few of her swoon-worthy shots.

Kristyn carried a timeless bouquet in shades of blush and cream incorporating white calla lilies, cream Sahara roses, Bridal Akito roses, Alabaster garden roses, pale pink Sweet Akito roses and Vivian spray roses.

The candlelit aisle and spray arrangements of blush dendrobium orchids created a romantic yet modern setting for the ceremony.

I just love this shot of the ceremony with all eyes on the bride and groom.

Elevated arrangements of white and blush pink orchids with submerged blush cymbidiums added glam and drama to the space.
